Question on 18650 battery type

I opened up a cordless drill to replace lithium battery cells. The original batteries are LS LR1865B. I order LS LR1865BE (are they the same?), but received LS LR1865CE instead. Does anyone know the differences between LR1865B and LR1865BE and LR1865CE?
Thanks.

Take it to your Interstate battery. They will take care of it for half the price of a new one. well, now batteries internally.

Thanks Look, I'll ask them tomorrow.
The shower is coming along . Done with the piping and concrete. I am building the frame now. It's only been around 15 months or so, since I broke down the first bit of the wall

Umm it's complicated. I think the B, BE and CE is a naming convention by an individual manufacturer. The panasonic ones I have are grey colored and say NCR18650 on the side and also say MH12210. They are definetly protected type. They replaced my cheaper ulrafire and are better, but they are a bit longer though. I have to really force them into my unltrafire charger. I think they must be 2 or 3mm longer, I can't find the old ones to measure both sorry.. Samsung are another good one.

Edit, here is a link. The ones I use are the third one along in the pic. http://www.nakedvapour.co.nz/categories/batteries/panasonic-ncr18650b-3400mah-li-ion-battery

Bill, I use similar for Ecig but these are for my cordless drill. I want to use the same model as what is in there now, and cheaper.

Ron, what kind of drill is it and how many batteries are in there? An average 81650 runs about 8-10 bucks per piece. By the time you are done with, lets say two,, you are more then $20 into it plus your labor. They rebuilt my Dewalt 18 volt batteries for 38 bucks. Good as new and went into service again for some time. On the side note, I would not buy their cordless tool again. I have had bad luck with their stuff. My plumber beat the snot out of his, and they hold up fine.

Look, I have a bunch of dewalt ni-cad batteries right here, so I start on Rigid last year. same thing, all 4 (2 ni-cad and 2 lithium) in less than a year. I bought 5 lithium 1865CE and soldered them in tonight. Charged them full, squeezed the trigger for couple seconds, it's out. Charged again, same thing happened. Must be the bad cells that I bought.
I emailed interstate. let's see if they respond tomorrow.
Thanks Look.

Rigid is life time warranted but don't know about their batteries. No more ni-cad batteries for me. Li-ion batteries are so much better because they take such short time to charge. That's a big factor for us.

i got here from a search for LR1865BE
and to fill in some missing info these are old OLD china cells that have very low power and very low capacity
these are 1300mAh cells and can only supply low current 4.2A

if you know what you are doing you can almost triple the power / runtime by replacing them with the Sanyo Panasonic NCR18650B{E}

I also got similar things. I ordered LR1865BE and got LR1865CE battery. I have not found any problem with this battery. I guess, that is their battery unique name nothing else. But, truly speaking, I like the best 18650 flashlight with battery. Because, these type batteries survive more than normal 18650 batteries. Company build flashlights and batteries are more powerful than normal batteries. Although, 18650 rechargeable batteries also good.
