From someone else who lives in Sydney - my thanks to your dad and all the others like him who worked for the betterment of all. We often don't appreciate what we have until it's gone.
My condolences and thoughts are with you - I lost my dad 3 year ago. The memories don't fade - he still teaches me values today. Tim

My sincere condolences to you and your family. I lost my dad in December 2010. I miss and think of him often.

Thanks for the kind comments, (despite PARF) Pelican reflects the fundemental decency in people, and the kindness.
He was a good guy. I always thought that Peggy Noonan book "When Character was King" would apply to Dad. Thanks again guys.
