I don't see proof that the suit slows them down. It is just speculation. Blame the equipment?

But they are able to blame their equipment because it is not tested properly. They could have done extensive back to back testing in their training environments without blowing the cover on the new suits. If ti was too late to do so, then run in the old suits until you are ready.

Something like this cannot happen at a properly run company and in a properly run team. Maybe the sponsor $$$ got ahead of them? Usually there are change control protocols. I have never been at an engineering company that would allow such a prime time change without proper testing and risk analysis.

Frankly, if it is proven that they run significantly slower in these suits, heads should roll at the team and suit company level. Underarmor should go back to selling fancy long johns.

FWIW... The US is not using the suit with the back vent on the short track races on TV right now.

Suits were ditched.

Don't tell me these weren't tested in a wind tunnel.

Every 10th's count. They should eat more beans.... a little jet action out the arse just before the finish line
