TABS's New Bestest Buffet In Town

One was told about a new Bestest Buffet in town, so one decided to go and check it out. After checking it out TABS's says this is must try or go to....it has also received a "Best Buffet In Town" award as well. The joint is the "M" Resort and casino located way, way down on South LV Blvd which seems like it is about half way to Baker...

Breakfast is $9.99
Lunch is $15.99
Dinner is $23.99

Fri and Sat Dinner is seafood and is $39.99

So it ain't Palace Station Cheap, but neither is the food. The place is really nice to. It is stuck out in the middle of nowhere (for now) but that is REALLY nice as you don't have all the hustle and bustle of the Strip and the multitudes of people everywhere...one can hear the birds singing and crickets chirping out there...

Anyway one digresses. With the price of Lunch/Dinner you get... Beer and Wine INCLUDED IN THE PRICE...also they have an Espresso Machine for Capchino, Latte or Espresso and if ya want a hit of Baileys Irish Cream....NO CHARGE...
The food is delish, with a large variety of different Salads (about 15 to 20) ...like most Buffets they have an international type of selection Greek, Italian, American, Mexican, Oriental...TABS's especially liked the Eggplant roll stuffed with Ricotta, Ox Tail soup, Beef Brisket, Deep Fried Pollock, Korean Braised Short Ribs, Lamb Roast Chop, Crab salad, Tomato and Fresh Mozzarella Salad, Pepper & Beef salad etc...Apple Crumb Pie, Cannoli along with a dozen flavors of ice cream..

The difference between lunch and dinner is that for dinner they add Prime Rib and Shrimp Cocktail...

On this visit I tried as many different things as I could without busting a gut...I do plan on going back in about a month...after I get hungry again...

All in all a nice place...

Sounds great. The description had my mouth watering.

I'm a big breakfast guy. Loading up on bacon, eggs and bacon. Enough to last me until dinner time before I think of food again.

Out here in the desert we locals meaning moi...like to go to the Station Casinos for the early morning repast...for $4.99. What is nice about it is that they will make an Omelete anyway ya like it. The rest is pretty standard fair.

Ohh they do have gooood breads...made by Great Buns bakery (they mainly make breads & pastries for the hotels and restruants).

Great Buns has a retail outlet in the front of the building....and they do make some wondrfull breads...They are way down on Tropicana just W of Pecos.

Rats, just got back from Vegas... the M has signs on the way into town with all kinds of great deals.

Wife was sick the whole time we were there so we didn't do any buffets.

The new O'sheas cramed between the Quad and the Flamingo had $3 12oz Bass ale.

Having not been to Vegas in awhile I had to look up the location on Goggle maps. It really is way out there. So far South of the main part of the strip it's actually in Henderson, NV. I remember when there was nothing South of the airport.

The food sounds great.

I haven't been back to the strip in over ten years (disclaimer, we went last year to see Journey at the Palms but spent most of our time in old town)

The strip is now crazy built up... my wife said it looks like New York... and they are still building! One nice thing is they have built bridge crosswalks at most of the major intersections
