I still think my SC wins. It has zero CO2 emissions as it hasn't been driven for the last few months.

It'd take a long, long time for a pruis to catch up. |

Indeed - the amount driven, materials used to make, and need fore replacement bits need to all factor in. The 918 is gonna lose big big time given the longterm maintained oven temps to create many of parts.
Going to efforts to create higher strength light weight materials in fleet trucks can pay off, but in a car that may get driven once a week max - calling it "eco friendly" it is not. Especially if you're using increased electronics that require metal working and mining - not to mention the chemicals in batteries. It can also be worth it in remote areas where there is no local source of fuel. I also think "low C02" and "green" as being interchangeable terms to be quite the misnomer given that CO2 is needed for the growth of "green" things.

Yes, beyond the Tesla EV, that is the only high performance car that emits less CO2 than a Prius - Quite an accomplished automobile
costs of manf. were not included in the OP - in part, because they are subject to politicized BSing by various posters here |
