Listening to the stock market pros on...
our business channel it seems that this is going to be a long bull market with a 5% correction in the short term. It seems that I can pick stocks and mutual funds successfully in the last 5-10 years but I tend to sell too soon. I see nothing wrong in taking some money off the table but where do you invest the proceeds to find balance? High yield bonds?
Any ideas are welcome! ![]() |

If you made money, you haven't sold too soon, you have just been smart and taken some profit. Why do you think the market takes a dive every once in a while in a bull market, profit taking. If you are brave, when the stock you owned goes down further, buy back in. Otherwise keep it in money market until another winner comes along or buy into a good dividend stock.. It's all a crap shoot anyway.
Most everyone is a hero in a bull market. I hope you are right and we are only looking at a 5% correction sometime. |
