And yes thanks for that! |
As far as the suits, let me just say if you saw them from the front you would call themselves the "Cameltoe Crew"....;)

I attended the first half of the race and was surprised that we were allowed to walk up and look into the cars until about 30 mins before the start. We left and headed home to watch the last few hours on TV only to find it was not available at the little lake house we had rented for the week end....btw, If you've never attend it, there are some fun loving, crazy people at that race:)
|
The TV coverage sucked. I could see having a break in mid race, but to show JUST the first 3 hours is a shame. And those suits, from the rear, are really bad, REALLY bad. Sportscar racing on tv is wanning, just like the series. Sad.

better from the back perhaps? though I did see other individual pics that had the second brunette looking amazing what team was the grey outfitted women part of? |
I think maybe the Aston Martin team. The car has the "Live Love Own" on the side of it IIRC.

always love your pics, big fan
if you took any others of the aston girls, do share :) |
hey the momo girls were awesome red body suits and one was about 7 ft tall. they posed and did fan pics next to the shack for hours.. very nice..also an honorary mention is in order for the continental tire girls this year they worked hard and were over in the mosh pit for most of the time catering to the bubba crowd..no pit work for them..
i went by the wearther tech pit one time and the girls were in rapt attention to the monitors no texting or makeup going on in that pit.. great show though ...my first time...met some guys that were celebrating their 37th consecuutive..... cheers frank |

As far as the race coverage on IMSA dot com goes, my reception was horrible. I have a fast cable Internet line at home and the picture was full of artifacts and jumpy. I had it on full screen and it kept popping back to a smaller box when the signal slowed or stopped.
I watched the race on-line for a little bit but gave up. Came back to watch the end and, no surprise, a DP took the checkered flag. They have slowed the old P2 cars down soo much that they are going to force them and their sponsors away from the series. Little TV coverage on a third tier cable network combined with spotty to bad on-line coverage will drive this series into the ground. |

Looks like you took that picture in front of the burm at turn 3 or 4. I took around 500 pictures there last year at turn three. I took another 300 down at the hairpin in turn 7 in front of the Chateau Elan. |
By the way, the commentators mentioned during the internet coverage that the GT-LM class winning factory Porsche RSR needed to be seen from an arial shot to appreciate the paint scheme. "Porsche Intelligent Performance":
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1395085486.jpg Obviously this is the LM Prototype, but this shot provides a clear image of the similar scheme: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1395085540.jpg |
I wonder what this race would have been like if they still had the Audi r8, LMP 1, even from last years race. Do you think, like I do, that it would have run away an hid, blasting the field by say, 20 laps. NASCAR wants to dumb it dowm to the masses, just like their other series.
