I so much prefer the narrow bodied ACs like the first car to the flared fenders of the big cobras.

Hey, a Testarossa that's not a redhead. Who would have imagined.

Great pics, thanks for posting!

Nice! There is a lot of nice hardware tucked-away in people's garages in the OC.

Because it isn't a Testa Rossa. And the early cars were Testa Rossas (2 words) - the '80s & '90s cars were Testarossas (1 word).

I think it's a 375 MM Spider. Someone please correct me if any of my comments are not correct.

Slightly off topic but I would be super nervous about driving a vintage Ferrari anywhere for fear of an accident. If some of these cars are worth half a million $ what would be the insurance premiums?

I think you are right, Doug. My mistake. The Testa Rossa is far more curvy:

Yes, that is a Testa Rossa! Notice the front "pontoon" fenders. Beautiful!

The red car is 8M+ and the blue car 3-4M
Collector car insurance is actually reasonable, I insure 3 of my collector cars with Hagerty, 4500 per year

Thanks for the Siata shots. Don't see them often.

Carter

Oh, and it is easily mistaken for an AC Bristol.

yep...lots of crazy guys here in SoCal. I know a guy who legitimately daily drives a real 250 GT California Spider. Easily an 8M+ car.

Not to hijack, but back when Cars and Coffee was at Crystal Cove in Newport, this drove up off PCH. I was told it was a $6M car at the time...

I'm unlikely to be in a position to own a car worth stratospheric money, but I can say that I would definitely drive any car I owned, no matter the value.

These owners can probably afford to insure these cars to the hilt... and if they've got any brains at all, they know how to drive defensively, thereby reducing their risk to almost nothing. So they probably don't drive in crazy traffic.
