A man spent years taking photos of a small town, but look closer....

Sorry if this has been posted before, but it's too cool to not share. This is very impressive. I would never have the patience to do this. Awesome. I am drawn to photographers who realize it is an illusion and stretch it as far as it will go.

I remember the first time I saw a really detailed model city scene like that. This guy is getting pretty old, and he is very, very good.

Why did things look so much better back then? The style was amazing. I wonder if people 50 years from now will feel the same way about 2014?

Super cool. Thanks for sharing. No. But we'll be dead, so we won't care.

I love the use of real backgrounds being used. Thanks for posting, I thought I had seen pictures of models before but that was great.

Yeah, use of the native trees is very clever, saves him from trying to make a tree that looks real.

That is really creative. He has some time on his hands because those scenes didn't get put together over night.

When is the last time we saw a fashion trend? Oh yeah.....tattoos. Right.... If you go back and look at the designing we did in the 50's, 60's and 70's...it's amazingly creative and unique. Plus very functional. That explains the mid-century modern movement - and why shows like "Mad men" are so cool. because we were cool back then. Now we're plain and unimaginative.

Average products for average people at the lowest price possible...99.999% of the time. Anymore, very few are willing to take the time and make the mistakes required to produce a great product that looks great too...then nobody wants to pay the money it took to make it.
