what price on near junk car
got myself a new econocar this weekend what should i sell the old one for?
99 altima. some body damage 213k miles put 1200 or so in it and it should go 50k more (ac is weak cooling system has minor issues but does not over heat. needs tires and front end alignment maybe front shocks) local scrap place would give 500 for it. thinking putting it on cl for 600 or so. seem fair? |

I bet you get a grand for it before the days end when you list it. Cheap running cars seem to be a hot commodity around here.

Any running car is probably $800 if it is clean. By clean, I do not mean a "nice" car, I mean one that has the interior cleaned out and has had a bath some time this decade.
Put $950 OBO on it. angela

Sounds like a perfect Station Car.
Very common on Long Island where people use the LIRR to commute into the city. As long as they start, steer and stop they are perfect. AC and heat were not really an issue as you tend to not drive far enough for it to have any affect anyway. When they die you leave them on the side of the road, pull the tags and find a new one over the weekend.
