The method is Milennia old.
The pilings might not be long enough.
Once they got the rhythmn right, that sucker went in fast. Maybe too fast.

Not Pakistan. Thailand or Laos.

Looks like fun.

I don't think the bare feet are going to meet OSHA safety standards though.

If they're deep enough and strong enough, who cares how they got installed? They just don't look deep enough and strong enough.

In India, they have tried using elephants to compact soil. But they tend to step in previous footprints and leave the soil around the footprints uncompacted. How do I know this? I friend of mine wrote an article for a professional soil mechanics journal titled, "The Uselessness of Elephants for Soil Compaction."

I think that's why Laos or Thai don't do quinceaneras and Bar Mitzvahs too.

Yep, Dick Meehan. I used to work with him. It was in Thailand, not India. Close enough.

Another reason is they use a too weak a brew of cement to sand ratio. Plus they don't let it cure before starting on the next floor.

It happens all over the middle east as well. Plus in mob run building jobs in Italy.

Only the foreman gets to wear the safety boots.
