Well he shot her...that's not disputed. Motive is the question. But why would you shoot through your bathroom door without announcing a warning? And if there was a warning, the gf would have said something. I think there was a fight, she was hiding and he killed her

He knew it was her in the bathroom. If he thought there was an intruder in the place the first thing he would do is check to see if his GF is OK. If she is not right next to him sleeping, the chances are that must be her in the bathroom so he would ask if that is her in there.

This is one of the most tragically stupid things I've ever heard of. They may have had a fight, he went off the deep end, she hid in the bathroom, he shot her.

What was this man thinking would happen? Either he is a complete moron or he was so desperate to have her dead he does not care. A third reason would be that he has a totally uncontrollable temper. In the first case he is just still a moron really surprised nobody Believes his lame explanation. In the second case she would have to be such a nightmare its on a World record level.
