LET's look at the judge too! If true, perhaps its time Delaware examines this superior court judge. Maybe she's a sicko as well. Remove her from position, examine her household and behavior.

Similiar "life-form" was put in general population down here is Australia, ended up in the prison hospital having the barbed-wire catheter removed.

The Chief Public Defender for the state of Delaware quoted in the article is an old friend of mine. Even though he's a defense lawyer, he thought the judge's rationale for sparing this guy prison was weird.

And as much as my gut reaction is to want to stomp someone like this to death, there is no denying that people like this are truly sick. Who could harm a small child like that??

Ever read the book "Blink" by Malcolm Gladwell? Fascinating read. Well just "looking" at the two scumbags (judge & defendant) confirms his theory. They both deserve the judgement coming their way.

Not a "child".....read the story......children.....both his......Girl 3 and Boy 1.5 Abused them over a two year period. Richards, who is unemployed and supported by a trust fund, owns a 5,800-square-foot mansion that he was sentenced to house arrest in. He does have to report to a probation officer once a month. So he's suffering a lot.

I never said that they could get well. I'm not an expert but from what little I've read, it seems to be extremely difficult to impossible to change that mental illness.

Don't confuse my response with sympathy for the guy, I have none. But these people are definitely sick. I could not imagine abusing a child in a million years, why would someone want to do that?

Sorry - didn't mean to imply you had any sympathy for Richards. I just have a thing for precise language. 'Sick' generally implies a temporary state that is the opposite of 'well' (modern epithets aside).

I think if we stop softening our language about evil men like Richards, judges like Jurden will be less able to get away with tragic decisions like the one she did. "He won't fare well," is a mealy-mouthed excuse for her stupidity.

She needs to say what she means, and mean what she says.

That judge Jurden is just as guilty. Throw her in the pen too! NO EXCUSE. What's the message she's sending here? The most precious things in life and innocent children... babies in this case! Unimaginable tragic. I would hope the people of CT wake up, hammer down and make some noise about the case.

I would sure love to see the FBI do a through financial background check on that judge.

Just how tough is it for a very rich person to set up a secret off-shore bank account in the Judges name. Maybe a big sack of cash or diamonds. Something helped her to decide to let that scum bag live in splendor at his mansion instead of jail.
