GT4...what's your fastest lap on the "Ring"?

I love playing the older Playstation GT-4, where in the Super License Category, you have to drive the wheels off an EVO II Mercedes 190E, and can't make a single mistake or it's game over.

So far, my best is 7:16(which took me about a year to get that time). Anyone else addicted to this track, or post better time?

If I wanted to buy into gross consumerism, I would have the latest of everything, and be in a perpetual state of debt. My 30 year old 911 turbo suits me just fine.

Willow Springs?...that's a track on a par with the Nurburgring?

Well, it's nice to see the home track in a videogame.

Now stick the TV in your oven and stick your head in it to get the real effect...

That's funny my friends and I are using Forza 3 and trying to beat Porsche's ring record in the 918.
No way we can get any production car near under 7 minutes.

I can't remember our times but your time seems amazing. I'll give it another go and let you know.

Been a longtime since I touched my PS3, but if I recall correctly my best 'Ring time was 7:08ish in a modified FD RX-7.
I remember that super license test, lost a lot of sleep cracking that test.

I thought this was a thread about "real" laps on the ring. I don't know what my times are, haven't bothered to check or even find out how to check. BUT

I've driven 186 "real" laps on the Ring in my RS America with one 4 wheel off and one 360 spin, woo hoo. Those were exciting or high pucker factor moments.

Hopefully I'll be back at the Ring is a month or so to start driving more.

I'm still touring Europe, almost a year now on this tour, just finished spending the winter in Spain, love Spain.

My 3.3L on full boost provides enough "real" effect for me, thanks.

And you have a nice Easter dinner too, with the family. trimmings n' all.
