Likely take the Yellowhead route to Winnipeg then down to the US border, Grand Forks, Brainerd etc and possibly through Bemidji where my mother used to own a trailer at Cass Lake.

If you have been watching the series "Fargo" on the FX channel, you would know there is some strange stuff happening and some evil people running around Bemidji these days....

I have watched the original movie Fargo but cannot get into the series somehow as it does not compare. I used to live in Winnipeg and travel down to North Dakota and Minnesota. G.

Isn't your daughter in her 20s? Does she really want mom and dad following her down there?

We are not going with the daughter to the univ.

Change of uni. Daughter is now going to the Univ. of Maryland at Baltimore for a two week course. Any comments on this univ.?

Cheers, Guy.:)

In the middle of the city, close to the ball park. But, as nicely as I can say this, be mindful of where you park. Not the best area but tons of things to do, just keep an eye out. You can fly into BWI and take the light rail to the city. Easy and reasonably quick.

Went to Baltimore when I was a kid and really enjoyed going on the USS Constitution at the Inner Harbor - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lots to see and do in the area.

Hay, I was born there too! ;)

U of mich is a great place except winter and spring. I went back twice after graduation and I am a Californian.

The grad Cambridge housing is perfect. Private room with bath and best location.

Too bad she is going to Maryland. Much smaller place but I am sure she will have fun.

It's a class, let her go by herself. Unless she requested for parent support. Everyone needs to grow up.

Ann Arbor is a cool town. I was there again last Friday. Don't miss the coolest used bookstore The Dawn Treader, and for an awesome sandwich, go to Zingerman's Deli!

Was there last night, stopped in the Ravens Club, great place, fantastic Old Fashion's and solid food.
