New Lambo vs. rock throwing citizen

Apaprently this guy got fed up with the Lambo racing down his street. Funny to watch since I'm sure the Lambo driver deserved it...but I'm also sure that filming it gives him all the ammo he needs to sue for damages and win easily.

Having a Young kid, and having people driving close to double the speed limit on my (very narrow, very residential) street, I also want to throw rocks sometimes... Except I don't.
Luckily I see police officers regularly at work, and ask them to put the radar on the street. It usually pays for their Christmas supper in 2 hours tops.

Before video everywhere that guy might have gotten a serious beating from one, or both of the Lambo guys. Not defending the driver but if one of them had gotten out and punched Mr. Righteous in the face I would understand.

Probably a little class warfare going on here too. White-guy rage too.

Whatever he threw, looked like it was about the size of a baseball. Felony assault/vandalism caught on camera.

He's lucky the guys didn't step out of the car and mess him up. Look what happened to this guy just for pretending to siphon gas..(!)

I knew a guy in Texas who had a problem like this with the guy up the street racing his Corvette in and out of the neighborhood, spoke to him, no luck Waited for him to do it again and backed a 3/4 ton truck out of the driveway at the appropriate time. Corvette hit the bed going just short of triple the speed limit. Guy with car got 364 days in the county lock up and a restricted license for a few years afterward. Pick up truck guy got $2500(value of his totaled truck) toward a new truck and some dough for the bump on his head.

What if someone was having a bad day and decided to throw rocks at "the prick in the Porsche"? Wouldn't be so funny then would it?
I was driving to my brothers house through a residential neighborhood doing 20MPH in my Hyundai and some old codger yelled "slow down" at me. I suppose he would have been justified in throwing rocks at me?

Video, mainly. That and the white guy seemed crazy. Quick cost/benefit analysis = Take your licks and drive on.

Couple of thoughts - what if the driver swerves to avoid the rock and causes an accident? Think lawyers might become involved?

As for the gas-syphoning prankster - good God, how stupid. Unless he was enjoying being beaten up.

Yea, that guy is an idiot. He must like getting beat up. Did he really think people would come out and laugh?

It's fake. All of the guys who came out the "beat up" the guy were actors. None of them looked like they were fighting seriously.

Does the old guy look like he is pulling a gun out at the end?

Yep, second rock but easily could have been mistaken for a gun.

The guy was driving away and this guy was pulling out another rock to throw at him. As if explaining to a judge why he threw the first one wouldn't be hard enough, chasing the guy to throw another is just trying to incite a fight.

Apparently the rock thrower missed out in Kindergarten - two wrongs don't make a right.

If you had been running 80mph through the neighborhood, you may have deserved it, but that doesn't make it right. Apples to oranges comparison here.

The guy in the lambo wasn't going 20, at least not until the nut jumped out in front of him.

One evening there was a kid roaring around the 'hood in his RX7. Dad hopped in his XKE, followed them home and was sitting in the driveway waiting for the kids parents when they came home. That RX7 was gone within a few days.

When I was a HS kid, there was some D bag in a Countach zooming around the lot at Century theaters where I worked. We had some traffic control posts up to keep traffic from going past the front of the theater, because Raiders of the Lost Ark was quite the blockbuster. Guy hit a speed bump and blew his air dam to pieces
