Official Thread: Stuff For Sale to Pelicans :)

A fellow Pelican got ahold of me via PM and offered me a good deal on a crankshaft for one of my two strokes. Got me thinking... Might be nice to offer other stuff (like iPhones) to fellow Pelicans, and bypass the ridiculous fees Ebay and Paypal get for selling stuff. Good or bad idea?

I'll start:

I have a pair of Bose QC15 noise canceling headphones. Excellent shape, work perfectly. Only a few months old. They were sent to me from Bose when my previous pair malfunctioned. They have the inline iPhone controls with mic. They are going for $200 on Ebay. I'll take $170 plus $10 bucks for shipping.

Lots of single for sale threads but it's a great idea to consolidate into one thread.

I have some things to add and will do so tomorrow.

Think maybe we should ask nicely for a sale/trade non-automotive stuff sub-forum - just let go of a spoon that would've been a great deal for a pelican even after shipping and FFL

Or if Wayne doesn't want to deal with it I can run a forum on one of my servers, would just want to set up some rules first. And maybe look into doing some hacking to make a cross-site authentication API (so your pelican user/pass would work w/o me having your pelican user/pass)

Great idea to have a thread like this - kinda like a virtual garage sale ...maybe instead of cash we could also trade? I have a few really great coasters!

Ok then - I have a very special coaster that I will trade. Let me tell you about this item. It's top grain black leather from deep in the heart of Texas which brings to mind images of quality and naughty - hand stitched with ivory colored cotton thread spun in the mills in Fall River Massachusetts. It's backed by soft yet durable felt assured to cusion your beverage from the unforgiving surface of a hole in the wall pub, the high brow attitude of the country club or the mind numbing ramblings of your mother Inlaws kitched table. It's the one item that sets you apart from the rest of the world of mediocrity and media influenced sheeple.

Just my opinion but I use a pair of these Bose phones when I am live mixing bands. They sound ridiculously good, are comfortable and the noise cancelling does a great job of isolating without resorting to overly thick and heavy cups.

If we're going to allow trades, this thread needs to be blocked from Byron!
