We have a Woodie show here in town too. It's held out on the municipal wharf and will usually feature about 200 woodies of all types. Even saw a vintage Bentley wooden 'shooting break' out there one year.
I had always thought that woodies were mostly all Fords. While Ford did make an awful lot of wood-bodied cars, many other manufacturers got in on the trend too. The local show always turns out a fair number of examples by Chevrolet, Pontiac, Plymouth, Buick, Chrysler and others. Even Packard made woodies back in the day.
