Board game recommendations
For good family time, without veging in front of the TV, we like to play fun board games. What are some games that you guys like? Any good new games? We have two daughters, 18 and 13, so games that require a lot of thought and strategy are good.
From my end, we like Rummikub and Settlers of Catan.

We played Mille Bornes ALOT when I was a kid.
Loved it. http://www.amazon.com/Winning-Moves-1034-Collectors-Edition/dp/B00004SDAP

We were playing Mansions and Money a couple weeks ago. My wife picked it up at the thrift store and all of us liked it pretty well.

Can't think of the name off the top of my head...but it's just trains. You have to plan train routes across the U.S. (and part of Canada), and try to block others from accomplishing their routes. It's pretty fun.
Clue was always a favorite of mine...don't know why I haven't bought that one for the kids, yet... Monopoly, though it can get pretty heated in my household ![]() Samurai Swords is a fun card game; my kids love it. And, it's not a board game, but any of the Just Dance games for the Wii can be fun for the whole family, and you get some exercise, too.

gacook, the train game you are thinking of is called "Ticket to Ride" and is indeed fun for the whole family. Played both the North American and Europe versions of that game.
