Google drive; issues
We use Google drive to submit roster requests. To access Google drive, you have to have a gmail account. Fair enough.
However, without warning 3 of us had our gmail accounts shut down for "violation of user agreement", no warning, no further explanation, no appeal. None of us can figure out what we did. Spam bouncing through our accounts is a maybe I suppose, I wonder whether my issue was lack of use. (I signed up only so I could use Google drive & weren't sending any e-mails through the account). Anyway, it was only roster requests so I reverted to the 1940s model of communication (telephone), but if we were depending on Google drive to access important stuff, we'd be screwed. Seems to be a fault in the model. Push people to intergrate Google drive into their work, then randomly deny access. Certainly made us all think again about using it for anything we needed to depend upon.

Apple has done this to people with iCloud. A friend lost some irreplaceable photos with iCloud. There was no explanation or warning, just there one day and gone the next. So we know the free cloud storage is unreliable, how about the storage you have to pay for?
