Saturday LeMans Announcement
Some of the pundits are betting that this supposed announcement will be from Ferrari, which is expected to announce that it is planning a return to Le Sarth using a car powered by units similar to those in its F1 cars. We shall see.

My oldest son sent me an email this morning stating Ferrari is going to announce a LMP1 car at the opening of this years event.

yeah that rumor has been going around for a little while. Would be very cool to get them back along w/ Honda.
However - I think it will still be a stretch given their current struggles in F1. Also, I think the ONLY way it will happen is if the ACO changes the regs to go back to the late 90s were we had GT1s as the top class and not prototypes.
