Indy 500 pit stop - very long 500 mile endurance race, refueling, wheel/tire change.
F1 pit stop, sprint race, no refueling. F1 car pitstops back then for a race winner were typically 0s - they didn't do them. A more fair shot - would be to show it flying past the pit lane as its tire actually lasted the entire race, unlike the F1's of today.

I was lucky enough to do a few F1 race pit stops at a Japanese GP
Didn't get to swing a big hammer or do anything exciting but it was still a fun experience
