Montreal GP

This weekend for Montreal, wish I was there. Haven't been for a few years. It's one of the best as the city is great with easy access to the track, and usually provides a entertaining race.

Once again, IMO, all eyes will be on Mercedes with Ham and Rosberg gunning for the win.

I've always been a Ham fan, but last race was not a good one for him. He behaved
childishly and didn't do his reputation any good. Sulking all weekend, get over it.

I'm gonna get there... someday

OffCamber00 06-05-2014 04:26 AM

Not going this year either. Always a great weekend with a great race in a great city.

Practice 2 on right now, (I hour remain) good battle up front between the boys at Merc. Close behind them also. Should be good quali tomorrow, and hope for a barn burner on Sunday.

One of my favorite tracks for sure.

yellowperil 06-07-2014 02:19 PM

Good tense quali, usual suspects up front, let's see what tomorrow brings. Mostly good races here, with lots of action and a safety car or two to spice things up. I'm thinking Ham for winner.

Whoever is doing the camera work and directing for the F1 TV feed is doing a terrible job. Cutting away from a critical pass to either a commercial/promo spot or panning away to a shot of the crowd.

I won't spoil it for anyone, but if you missed this race you missed a great one! Unbelievable from beginning to end.

herr_oberst 06-08-2014 11:48 AM

Good Race.

Great Race!

Whomever thought that getting rid of Varsha and replacing him with Leigh Diffey was a good idea needs to be fired.

SPOILERS

Bad luck sure does seem to favor Hamilton.

Noah930 06-08-2014 12:02 PM

Scary looking crash. Hope they're OK.

Paul K 06-08-2014 12:15 PM

Bloody Hell. NBC switched channels for the F1 and the DVR didn't record it.

Watched the last half though, so I saw most of the action.

Good stuff!

Wow!!

bell 06-08-2014 03:26 PM

I've been watching it on one of the Spanish channels. ..... Can't stand the following. ....

1...... lee diffey
2.......nbcs split screen commercial bs..
3.......I have a 4:3 aspect tv.... Their feed was zoomed in and chopped up so couldn't read the stats. ...
4.......They run a nearly 2 minute delay which kills any feasibility of using the live timing and scoring app.....

rusnak 06-08-2014 03:30 PM

+1. Wow is right. I think Massa had brake fade or probably brain fade, since he was able to lock the FL after clobbering off the FR on Perez's car. Dumb.

pors1968 06-08-2014 04:40 PM

Great race hot day track temp+ 130f brake fading top speed + 340klm .GREAT RACING DAY.
