I am near Roseville, could maybe go take a look tomorrow. There is a Porsche dealer in Rocklin, that is right next to Roseville. Alternatively, I can make some inquiries about a shop to do inspection. Friend of mine who was a Porsche wrench for about 30 years might be persuaded to look it over, will give him a call this after noon

Hey guys thanks for all of the responses. John, screen name "quick six" pm'ed me and will drop by in the a.m. Thought I found one in OK city and Sid had a local text me earlier this week but I saw the underside and needed no further information.

This community as dysfunctional as it is at times is almost like having a brother in every town. Except you don't come over and borrow stuff and not return it, or drink my beer, or.....anyway, thanks again to all who volunteered.

Agreed! I have never left on a road trip and felt "alone" as long as I can access Pelican. Some of us are plenty strange, but when it comes to helping each other out, there's not a stranger in the bunch.

Like I"ve always told people , with a smart phone you're never more than an hour away from someone with tools, cold beer, and possibly a couch to sleep on and a spare parts!
