1996 Hydrasports 17 ' center console- thoughts ?
Been looking for a center console since I sold the Whaler I think I want a 16 - 17 ' based on my storage space. Been looking for a while and came across this Hydrasports. I have not looked at it yet in person only pics. Looks very clean pretty much standard center console style/setup with glass liner. Seller says floor and transom are solid with no issues. Has a Yamaha 90 hp 3 cylinder outboard which I understand are good motors. The trim/tilt works and it has a good prop on it. Comes with a galvanized trailer with newer tires. He says all trailer lights work. The only thing the rig needs per the seller is upholstery has to be redone all seat vinyl is cracked/worn. That would be replacing two small rear jump seats, center console seat cushion and the seat cushion in front of the console so really not that much to replace. Last year $1200.00 worth of tune up work was done including remove/clean/reinstall carbs the receipt is available. Boat was run all last year seller says he doesn't have time anymore and is motivated to sell. So what do you guys know about Hydrasports boats ? I know they were originally a OMC company that I believe was sold off and is currently still in business. I think I can get this in the range of 4.5k so can't get hurt too bad. What do you think ?

No one here owns a Hydrasports boat or has any feedback ?

A former employer had a 26 feet center console, twin outboard, Hydrasport. 150 Tohatsu's, but I never fished off of it. We always took a smaller boat he owned to bay fish. I don't think he kept the Hydrasport for very long and replaced it with a Contender.

The older boats were well built. Not the prettiest boat on the water. What year boat and motor? 2 or 4 stroke? Trailer included?
