Feeling kinda stupid

I can't believe I'm admitting this (and please no one tell Tim) but I....well....I bought another Audi

In my defense it's just a commuter car and I got it for less than than trade in-value but still I can't help but feeling like a chump [clenches fist in a Seinfeld re: Newman manner] "Audi".

Anyway, it's just a first generation TT Quattro coupe. It's a fun little car and it gets great mileage but I have no doubt it will drive me insane at some point. I just wanted it on the record that I admit going in that I'm a dumb a55 and deserve whatever grief it gives me. That is all

Garages here hate working on that model apparently if it has the larger turbo, the underhood area is stuffed really full.

I'm still seriously considering a 2006-2009 A6 wagon. The 3.1L engines appear to be pretty reliable. As I've been looking at ads, I see many at or near 200K miles.

Unfortunately they seem to be holding their value pretty well. Cars with 60K miles are pushing $20K. Feels like a lot. At that price level I start looking at how much Mazda CX-5 or Subaru Outback I can get for the same money. This whole practicality thing stinks.

Just think Lendaddy as long as you did not pay too much for it then you have the $$$ saved to pay for the repairs. However if you spend more time on the bus/taxi commuting than driving the Audi then this can become an expensive obsession.....

Traded my '03 996 in on a 2012 supercharged A6. Don't regret it. An outstanding car.

My wife's 2001 A4, which had 200,000 km on it, was totaled recently (she's fine) and we got lucky and found a 2006 A4 with 108,000 km at a reasonable price.

We bought it on the spot without a PPI, and it checked out just fine with our Audi specialist.

I really like the Getrag 6 speed in this car, and the suspension. It is her daily driver, and she has a 2010 TT for weekends and for touring.

I really like the original TT. One of my vintage VW buddies in Texas got one when they first came out, before they put the stupid looking spoiler on the back. Let me drive it around a bit, solid little car. That is about the coolest car made in the last 20 years. They came up with a really cool concept car, then built it for the public.

So far I'm really shocked at how tight this car is for it's age. The interior is still flawless (Audi has always excelled there) as well. All that said...I'm just anxious, I've been down the Audi road before and it was a twisty b1tch full of decreasing radius off camber turns
