+1 for the Taylor of Old Bond Street cream. I'm currently using the Lavender scent and really like it. I think next time however I'll get the Avocado as I've heard good things about it. I also recently got their aftershave gel. It has a terrific scent and I really like the slightly astringent tingle it gives off when you pat it on!

As far as blades go I too am searching for the "perfect" one. I bought a blade sampler pack from amazon that I'm working my way through but so far the Merkur blades seem to work the best on my face.

Mr Taylors is a good classically masculine scent. They don't linger much either.
