Angry Baltimore cop slits restrained dog's throat

Quote:
A cop in Baltimore City was arrested Wednesday after allegedly slicing a restrained dog's throat and leaving it to die.

Witnesses say Bolger was already talking about killing the dog as he got out of his vehicle. According to documents obtained by the Baltimore Sun, he was overheard stating, "I'm going to f--king gut this thing."

After other officers secured Nala with a dog pole, Bolger allegedly took out a knife and cut her throat. The dog later died.

Quote:
Fleisher also said that the officers were cruel to the dog even before her throat was cut.

"You could hear the dog screaming and crying in pain," she said. "I did see one officer that had been extremely aggressive that did have his knee into her chest that was tightening the noose. It seemed (they were doing it) relentlessly and unnecessarily."

Nothing surprises me from these "heroes" anymore. Bunch of bullies.

Can't imagine how I'd react if I saw him do that.....

Yeah, and then salt the wound. What a piece of .....

Ya know, I can be sort of liberal, but when comes to crime I am all for bringing back Devils Island.

This would be the place for this guy- oh, and let the rest of the prison pop., know that he was a cop.

cops

I wonder what other crap he has done in the past to make him so brazen.

People that kill and torture animals usually have or will move on to people

There needs to be mental health screening for cops to make sure they are not losing it.

I am not down on all cops but there are so many bad ones that make the rest look horrible.

It is not a job I would want to do

If that were my dog, I would wait it out a few years after he is charged, and then hunt that arsehole like he was a deer.

This has to change. These stories make me absolutely sick. I was going to post another dog shot story over the weekend. Of the case's like this that I've seen, none seem justified. This particular dog was shot in the face in front of children in the dog's own yard. Hammond, Indiana... was found to be justified.

How good of cop can you be, if you can't deal with a non threatening dog?

You f with my dog, you f with me.

Really makes me question how he has treated all the suspects he's ever arrested. Do you think he made up his mind about them before even getting out of the car? Do you think he followed all the proper procedures? Protected constitutional rights?

Oh boy. Furry animals have far more committed and powerful advocacy groups than do criminal suspects. That officer is in for it, and deserves to be.

I agree with the others above. He needs to have his balls removed without pain killers. Better yet, give him the knife and make him do it himself.

Why would you have to slit the throat of a restrained dog?

He probably got the s**t kicked out of him every day as a kid and became a cop to be a tough guy.

I'd like to see this guy take a bat to the head.

Meanwhile good, honest cops out there have even more trouble to deal with.

There are close to one million law enforcement officers in the USA. They aren't all like this guy.
