You can plainly see the driver texting in the picture. I guess Michael is Fuxed. I have had such bad experiences with dealerships lately including smashing one of my cars that I have no faith in their ability to care for your car or respect it. He was probably trying to show the passenger what the car is capable of unfortunately the car seems to be more capable than him. Why was he on the highway with that car anyway?

Airbags deploy whether seatbelts are used or not. On newer cars the airbags can be deployed at different rates depending on seatbelts and severity of the crash. But seatbelts don't determine whether the bags fire or not.
