That's what I want to be when I get older. Have been biking (road and MTB) for most of my life but used to be a horrible swimmer and thought running would just hurt my knees. Never was really athletic but started to do triathlons about 3 years ago and am loving it. Got an instructional DVD to learn how to swim and found a way to run without injury. The 3 disciplines really complement each other and I never get bored of training. I schedule a couple of event throughout the year so I continuously have something to train towards. In my early 50's now and faster biking, swimming, and running than I was ever before.
I really encourage anybody to try it if they are interested. It may look a little intimidating initially but it is a very fun way to stay healthy and active. As posted previously, the key is to listen to your body and not force anything.
