The Lamborghini or the Porsche......
Which would you choose?
1956 Lamborghini DL30 for $3.5k ![]() or 1962 Porsche Junior for $4k

Are you going to put one of them to work or just have it?
I'd just toss a coin, Porsche probably has more of a following, ergo, better availability, but I understand parts are expensive. Lambo would be cool just for the exclusivity, but I hear parts are impossible....

Just dreaming, both are not an option for me at the moment, maybe one day....

Both if I could. If I have to choose one, I'd take the Lambo.
I already own a Porsche, and that would likely be the only Lambo I could ever own. Plus, it looks a little more beefy if I wanted to pull a plow. Unlike Porsche, Lamborghini still builds tractors. I wonder if any parts are still available for a 1956?!

The Lambo is cool, but I don't have the space for something that big. Plus, I think the Porsche is more aesthetically pleasing. Since I would just own it to look at or exhibit, not actually put it to work, I would want the one that looks nicer.

Maybe even funnier if it was "My other tractor is a Lamborghini"

I'd have to try the Lambo. I had a Junior that jumped up and down with every revolution of the engine and sounded like someone pounding on an iron pot with each ignition. Even when running well it sounded like it was coming apart.

The Lambo no doubt.
Ferruccio Lamborghini knew how to build a proper tractor.

I just like diesel tractors, so Porsche. But that Lamborghini looks nice and sturdy.

They are both useless. I have toyed with getting a Porsche tractor fr my farm numerous times. Air cooled diesel means it won't start in the winter so no good for plowing snow. Not powerful enough to run a round baler so no use there.
It could run an auger, flail mower, or haybine but that's about it. I bought a new Kubota M7060 with the cab and even there wish I got the M8560. Oh and Lamborghini doesn't make tractors anywhere. I think AGCO sells tractors with their brand, in addition to McCormick, Landini, Challenger, etc. If you look into it, there are only a handful of manufacturers making sub 100 HP tractors. LS: Case, New Holland, McCormick etc. Made in Korea. Kioti: Bobcat. Made in Korea. Massey Fergusen made under contract in Japan. John Deere made by Deere in India. Mahindra made in India. I can't remember who rebadges these. Kubota made by Kubota in Japan.

Did not know this: In 1972, after a fatal cancellation of an important order, Ferruccio lost confidence in his tractor business and sold his company to Same Co of Treviglio. Lamborghini Trattori is now a brand of Same Deutz-Fahr.

Both of these companies are capable of ferocious mistakes and equally great ideas .
Are they both Diesel? That would be most important. Next the spaghetti harvest has more highs and lows then the German ideas dept. Based at the current highs and lows and that neither company stayed with tractors ..If i had to have one, I would guess the Porsche would be the better idea. Here in the states there is a population of these.

If I could afford to look for a tractor from Europe, I'd have to have an older Hurlimann. The thing looks like an anvil of a tractor.

Down at the bar you could claim my Lambo does 0 to 60 in one hundred....with a top speed of 4...That ought to be impressive...

What THAT is a tractor!!!!! LOVE it!
Regarding OP you buy Italian stuff for style and german stuff for engineering. Tractors actually have to function and do a job. no question you'd opt for the Porsche tractor.

Interestingly Hurlimann looks to be part of an Italian group now. Lamborghini related even...
