Real Men Hate Bras

I know I sure do. They hide the curves. They are an encumbrance which has to be removed at inopportune moments. They chafe the wearer. They don't go well with water - better no bra when wet. And they are so old skool. And then there is the look. I know I hate this and it frankly (my apologies to any Franks) makes me sick.

What a way to ruin old paint. Unbelievable. DON'T DO THIS!

Yea, plus you have to learn how to get them off only using one hand. I mean you're fifteen and you're fumbling around like an idiot with both hands and sure you eventually become a master at the one-handed maneuver but who really even wants to deal with the hassle?

I have yet to master the one-handed removal technique.

Reminds me of the time in my teens when trying to find the clasp and for the life of me couldn't find the dang thing - until she said, "This one's on the front" and laughed. <-Necessary technical content.

The front clasp bras are like opening a gift!

We are still talking about leather bras for cars, right?

Actually, I don't think we ever were. And since Ronnie's not in this thread, it's all good. He'll be along to spoil the party any minute...

^^^ What you really meant to say!

And . . . I hear Eric utilizes a bra (and swears by them, too)!

WRT the pic in OP, it helps if they are of high quality and fit correctly. There is a big difference between the latest Victoria's Secret bra and one from aunt Sadie that doesn't fit the bumps.

Generally speaking, though, I agree. Bra-less is best.

Use is really an issue of short term effects vs. long term detiriation. After years of non use there can be many down sides. Of course original specs do factor into the potential down sides. If your not in it for the long term you may not have that concern.

But they hide shortcomings. Say you drive your car into a garbage can, dent the bumper and scratch up the hood. Get yourself a bra and a box of Kleenex and not one will know!

And yet, recently reported evidence indicates that the opposite is true; consistent, long term use actually does more harm than good regarding the effects of aging and gravitational pull.

I once drove my Westfalia on the Alaskan Highway and the Top of the World Highway in the Yukon. A bra would have been nice. And rock screens over the headlights.

Yup me too. Was hoping to see something else. I do hate Bras on cars though...quickest way to ruin your paintjob.

I like them better than rock chips or a patina of dead bugs.

That one looks tacky. What kind of car is that? Oh yea there it is in gigantic 6" tall letters but they misspelled it. It should be "DOUCHE".

Car Bras are so 80s and redundant.

If you want to protect your pain use "3M™ Scotchgard Paint Protection Film".

For women however... This will never get old.
