Any idea of what my bike is worth?

I'll be purchasing a new bicycle tomorrow and will be selling my single speed 29er. Problem is, I have no idea what I should ask for it or be willing to take for it.

The bike: Niner Sir9 with Stan's ZTR Flow/Chris King Wheelset built by Wheelbuilder,
Thomson stem, Salsa Pro Moto carbon bar, WTB Devo saddle, Bontrager seat post, TruVativ Stylo Oct crankset, and Avid Elixr CR Brake set. Extras include 18t Chris King cog and brand new set of Maxxis Ardent tires.

The bike has less than 600 miles on it and has only been ridden on a dry paved bike path. It is in excellent condition with some wear on crank arms and some dog teeth marks on the seat(the dog got a hold of the seat before it was mounted).

I've got to have at least $3000 into it. The wheelset alone is over a $1000.

It's a used bike now. It's worth something though.

These bikes get built up from the frame.

I'm buying a Salsa Warbird Ti.
I'm undecided on my next mountain bike. I know it will be a full suspension Xc and not 26". 27.5 looks interesting for sure.

In my experience it's worth 50-60% of what you paid for it, unless you find someone who really wants it.

I just picked up a Klein Attitude Comp with XT components and Rock Shox Duke XC for $100 from a coworker. He basically gave it to me.

Check these ads for reference. As of my posting all of these ads are still live, which, for the most part, means they have not sold at the listed prices:

Niner SIR 9 29er Large

2012 Niner S.I.R. 9 XC Hardtail

eBay auction that closed at $995 w/$125 shipping:

Regretfully, like race Cars 50%. My brother's bike store takes trade ins; try on your local shop. Or strip the bling and basically part it out on ebay.

Thanks for the responses guys. 1700-1500 seems reasonable to me. Any less I'll keep it.

LOL Widebody...

Its a 1 speed? A fixie or does it freewheel? Seems a lot of money for a bike that does one thing...

Lots of folks like to roll SS and rigid....but they are also the type who want to build their own bike. Not many will appreciate the CK hubs over a standard Stans hub unfortunately.

That said....the right buyer would be all over it as you've done all the hard work. $1700ish??

What year is the bike? Do the new niner frames come with integrated headsets?

Overheard at a LBS. (I will not disclose maker) Current year closing out - High-end top o' the line models sold to dealers 50 cents on the dollar.

Although in beautiful condition, the OP has a 'used' bike. Something to take in consideration. Personally, I would keep and enjoy it.
