Looking for Excellence Back Issue

Excellence magazine ran a photo of my '56 coupe at the 1987 356 Registry East Coast Holiday in February 1988. I was told a later issue (March, April, May?? 1988) had a "scathing" letter about what I had done to my car. Does anyone have these back issues, and if so can you confirm there is such a letter? I found the Feb '88 issue in my stuff and would love to have at least a copy of this "scathing" letter to put with it.

Thank you.
And thank you for finding that. I really appreciate it.

The "monstrosity '56 Kustom" at the East Coast Holiday is actually my '56 coupe driver with painted-on whitewalls, 'coon tail and American flag on the antenna, spinner hubcaps, dingleballs above the windshield, styrofoam fender skirts, and 'press-on' paper flames. I had fuzzy dice hanging from the mirror and a suicide knob with a picture of a naked lady embedded in the clear acrylic knob.

Ironically, my car had appeared in twice in the previous issue of Excellence as a class winner at the 1987 West Coast 356 Holiday in Estes Park Co. - sans the costume.

Earlier in the year Jerry Keyser and I had taken a trip in our 356As from Ohio to Jasper, Alberta and then to the West Coast 356 Holiday in Colorado Springs. Even after a 3500 mile trip the car won at the event.
