What to do in Columbus Oh?
I have to spend a week in Dublin, just north of Columbus, is there anything I should see? I am not into the party scene so lets forget the bar suggestions.

The Columbus Zoo in Dublin is fantastic. And I find the Ohio State campus pretty cool too! Go Bucks! Try Donatos pizza, Grinders subs and Graeters ice cream.

There are some great restaurants. Schmidt's Sausage House in German Village, Le Chatelaine in Dublin (authentic French), the Starliner Diner is a funky little Cuban place in Hilliard near Dublin. The largest air museum in the world - The US Air Force Museum - is an hour west in Dayton. My house is 45 minutes west, Hocking Hills state park to the south is great if you want to get outdoors, the COSI science museum is cool.
Here is a list compiled by tripadvisor Things to do in Columbus: Check out 74 Columbus Attractions - TripAdvisor

i have only passed through Columbus but I have spent some time in Dayton over the years.
Air Force museum is terrific. The size of some of the old jets will surprise you. Is you do get to Dayton, they have a neat minor league park right downtown. Great way to spent a summer evening. The Wright Brothers House is really cool. I was lucky enough to go to a few receptions there. Hawthorn Hill - Dayton History I don't know if the tour times will work but if they do it is well worth it. Tim also lives close by ![]()

I've only been to Columbus a couple of times. One of them, I was a groomsman in a wedding at the Franklin Park Observatory at the botanical gardens: Franklin Park Conservatory - Botanical Gardens Very beautiful and also had a collection of Chihuly glass.
Also, the Ohio State campus is something to behold. There is a reading room on the top floor of the OSU library that is well worth the visit for the views of the campus and surrounding areas and because it is a really nice space. As a tourist only there for a weekend, these two places remain as fond memories from a fun weekend. |

Plenty to do, what dates? I've been up in Easton once a week for the past 6 months. Let me know, I'll set something up.
