Gotta Find a New Hobby

The Chip Foose thread finally died. Gotta find something else to do now.

No doubt he has a soft spot for Targas - right next to the spot reserved for the mighty 924 Turbo!

Start an A/C thread about a backdated car with an engine rebuilt by Motormeister using a multi-spark ignition that disparages targas, Swepco and Brad Penn oil and put RTV sealant on EVERYTHING that doesn't move.

You can't buy happiness, but you can buy car parts which is kind of the same thing.

In between answering phone calls from clients, I'm converting my track-only 914 back to a street car. Has a "built" 2.7 with a almost, sorta stock 901. It's a 1975 so I dodged the smog issue here in sunny SoCal. It'll be fun. Not as much fun as it was at Mid-Ohio or Watkins, but it'll be fun.

Lets discuss the white creamy stuff in the oil after the car has been sitting, yeah that's the ticket.

I installed "German" brand parts because I'm cheap and they all failed already. Is this because I'm using gas station oil in my trans?

My car has an 8.5:1 CR, but I still use 93 octane...

It's a porch, it needs the good stuff
