yep, good friend of mine with that same last name.

My old boss was name Richard Hare. Of course, we always called him 'Dick', primarily because he was one..

My wife hates her forename - Edith Louise. Named after her Mom's best friends (who a couple years later were no longer friends)

Sum Ting Wong, Wi Tu Lo, etc... pretty funny.

I worked over in the sandbox with a woman named:

Brenda Goodnight... she was a friggin blast to be around...

My gf is a visiting nurse, one day I was at her place she downloaded her assignments for the week, and started laughing hysterically.

I asked what was so funny? She said the name of one of her patients,

Dick Ng

She explained to me that Ng in in Mandarin mean. "I don't have"

I worked with (a very nice) lady whose name is "Sandy B utts" no kidding. We got so used to it that it wasnt funny at all, but you'd remember when someone giggled when you said her name and they hadn't heard it.

My waterpolo coach in high school was Dick Delong.

In the last organization in which I worked, my boss' boss was named Dudu; there was also a Sharon and an Ellie on the team - both of them were guys.

Went to JH with a guy whose last name was "Coffin".

I like going to Canada for work, at least the people who work at fast food places know how to spell and pronounce "Hugh", in Los Angeles I get hu, hue ugh, and whatever they come up with. I just usually say "Sam".

In college once, I was at a bar and told some drunk chick my name was "Hugh" and she said "I've never heard that name before", I said sure you have,,have you ever heard of Hugh Heffner? And she said "Wow, are you related?

don't have to go that far. Just up in San Francisco or towns up north they usually have no problem communicating.

Long ago, I did some work for a guy name Mr. Buttram. I always wanted to ask his if its pronounce Butt-ram? I was too chicken to do it because he was paying the bills.

I know a guy who's last name is Crapo, he pronounces it Cray-po but its still Crap o to me.

I once met a Filipino lady whose last name Horse****a.....seriously. Another Filipino lady I met had a last name Areola. I asked a Filipino friend about this and was told that its actually common because the Spaniards gave them derogatory names when they conquered the Philippines.
