We had a little fat wheels Suzuki 90 at the beach house. The exhaust pipe rusted off so I banged some holes in an old paint tin as a muffler, and used fence wire wrapped around the cylinder to hold it on. After a few years my uncle took it to the dump because neighbors were complaining about the noise. Stupid uncle - some people just don't understand.

Picked up a couple of these for a couple hundred bucks off of Craigslist.
Fun for drunken relays around the yard at parties.

I see Grom-like little bikes all over SE Asia. They're huge over there. $3500? No thanks! My first bike:

He may also bring home another bike home for me, a 1998 Kawasaki KDX 250 Enduro with lights and turn signals........we'll see.

Wow. This brings back memories. I had a no-name no-brakes tube frame deal. Can't remember what ever happened to it. Then a string of Hondas on account of an after school job at a Honda Dealer. We used to take trail 50's and put 70cc top ends on them. I learned how to weld building those little franken-bikes.
Anyone remember the Heathkit trail bikes? I wanted one of those real bad..

Remember the Mustangs? Mid to late 50's.
My neighbor had a yellow one...he was our hero...we were 12 or so yrs. old...he was 18.
He would chase around town and thrash that thing and we would all marvel.
His had a "Racket Buster" muffler that made it sound bigger than it was.

Not more than 10 years ago I got beat out by $100 buying an SL100.
For some reason, I just wanted that bike...it just looked like it belonged to me.

Not good - this thread makes me want a minibike so bad. Gotta finish the project at hand and sell the SL first though.
