Yes. Sent you a PM. I'm thinking of mounting 5 100 LED strips behind frosted plexi as a progress bar. (vs. a thermometer style.) I could then set up 10 segment programs so they could select the progress as they go. Could also integrate some visual effects on it as they get closer to goal.

Way over complicated than some basic lights behind colored plexiglass with a reveal, but it doesn't seem too hard if I could just figure out the software. Using LED Edit to drive a T-1000S controller with individually addressable RGB LED's...

If you have a solution that is more "off the shelf" or can make it that way for me, I am all ears, running short on time. (3 weeks or so)

I can't answer your question, but a good place to shop for an off the shelf solution would be Adafruit. Huge selection of hardware. If you check out the 'Learn' section, there are tons of how too projects.

I do have experience with Arduino programing. I've never done exactly what you're trying to do, but it would seem pretty straight forward with an off the shelf strip with individually addressable LEDs and an Arduino.
