They're saying suicide. He checked himself into rehab in July for depression.

Wow that is going to leave a mark.

I enjoyed all of his TV and stand up routines - loved his big screen performances. What a loss.

I had the good fortune to work with him on a couple of films. Very nice guy, but like most great comedians he seemed to have a darker side bubbling under the surface and could be a little "stand-offish". From one of my favorite films....
