Because it's illegal because it is considered gambling. I remember it was a popular format in the 1980's. Too many scams resulted, unfortunately.

I would LOVE to drive that car for a couple of weeks and then re-sell it. That's one of my favorite TV shows from when I was a kid. Love that car!

You are correct, the car was donated to the school by the estate.....

The school is raffling off the 308 to fund a scholarship fund. It will go a long way to providing financial aid for deserving young ladies for years to come.

That's exactly what I would......will do. Only problem, it looks like the raffle will happen in November. It's gonna' be a long cold Winter waiting to get the car out in the Spring.

You can leave it in AZ... Drive it for a few weeks in great weather and then haul it to BJ for many many $$$$

You should have gotten an email with a link to view the tickets. I don't think there is a way to see how many are left.

The School's Fund Raising Administrator has acknowledged an increase in ticket sales.

I'm in! That would put a smile on my face. :) It actually already did.

I thought Magnum's (Mr. Masters!) wasn't a QV?

I am sure I can find a clear day to fly down and pick it up in November! :D

Anyone gather the mileage on the car? That would determine if I drive or trailer it! LOL

Edit: I should learn how to read. Miles and price are almost the same number ... that looks like I am driving it back!!!
