Porsche App for Apple stuff

If you've got a very late model Porsche (I think 2013 and up), then Porsche has a pretty cool app for you. I couldn't find it for Android.

If you do a search in the App store for "Porsche AG" you'll find it. It's called "Good to know".

It's sort of like the owner's manual, but it also includes videos on how to perform some common tasks or use specific features. You can also pull up your dash and zoom in and out and see what the various buttons, etc... do.

It's pretty neat. Unfortunately, my new car, being a 2008 is not included, but I downloaded it anyway just to check it out.

Description

Get to know your Porsche - available video clips and userís guides to help you get the most out of your Porsche.

After installing this application, you can choose your Porsche model and download the contents for your vehicle. Video clips, pictures and texts will then be available on your Apple device at any time.

Each downloaded model provides the following features:
- Short video clips on how to operate your Porsche
- The complete userís guide
- A searchable A-Z index for quick access to the userís guide
- Interactive pictures for vehicle controls and buttons, with links to the userís guide
- A quick-reference guide
- Useful tips about your Porsche
- A dealer search, using GPS
I just glanced through the supported vehicles. It looks like some only go back to 2014, some to 2013 and I think the Cayenne goes back to 2012. The Macan and the 918 Spyder are included as well as the 911 and 911 Turbo.
