Birthday Present For Wife...New Daily
Bought the wife a new daily for her birthday. She used to like driving the M3 because it was smaller than her E39 540. She never drove the 540 because she was always scared it would get damaged. Done about 6000km in four years. So we sold it. So I picked up a 320i Touring. Not sure if you guys in the U.S got these or not. But it has a 2.2lt i6 with ZF 5sp Steptronic. I thought it would be gutless but they have the ratios pretty sorted so whilst not fast at all, it is zippy. Silver with immaculate black leather interior, 160,000kms and gets 8lt/100. She loves it. Big points for me

Good choice! My Daily is a generation older - E36 - a 320. The budget model of 6 cyl Engines with only 150 bhp. Not much Power but I love the straight six engines of BMW of the old school. So sweet and nice sounding.

Nice ride for the Mrs.
We loved our 528 Touring. It wasn't a 540 but it ran very well. Plus, it WASN'T a mini van. We have a Honda Odyssey now.

Nice! No 320 in the USA. I think the smallest was the 328.

Nice choice of car. You don't see too many on the road which I think is appealing. Looks to be in good nick too.
As they say 'happy wife, happy life'.
