Retirement Gift to Me
I retired 2 months ago. Around the same time I got an offer for my SC. It wasn't for sale but I got an offer I couldn't refuse.
So now I needed something else. Here's what I found in New Brunswick. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It's an 07 Z06. This thing is stupid fast. I drove it home to Ontario. It's actually a very comfortable car to drive on long distances. Not the greatest to sleep in. I couldn't get a hotel In Mass. so I kept driving and grabbed a couple hours of z's at rest stops on I-90. I'm going to track it in a couple of weeks.

Thanks all for the kind words.
The car has 62 k's and was owned by the same family, and dealer serviced. Seller gave me all the receipts. There are a few stone chips and a tear in the seat which I'm getting repaired next week.

Congratulations on your retirement and welcome to the Z06 club.
I just picked up a 2015 Z06 with Z07 package a month ago. |

Now in 993 land ...
|
Was this an even trade in terms of funds? In terms of performance we know it is a huge step up! That will run circles around the SC. No offense, the SC is cool and all, but definitely lacking in today's sports cars world.
With the new Vette piling it on again, these Z06 cars will just be the bargain of the century! G |

Congrats! I think the Z06 is the most performance you can get for the money, period. Very cool cars, I drove a C6 Z06 and loved it.

![]() Brian--as others already said- you will love the Vette! I've driven an 09 Z06 and it was a total hoot. I would be a complete hooligan with one so I'll stick with the ol' SC for now.

Nice car! great color and I like the wheels...
I had to chuckle that you spend that much on a car but wouldn't blow a few bucks on a cheap hotel room for the night.

Great car and best bang for the buck in my opinion. I don't think I'm adult enough to own one.

That's the home of the previous owner. He lives on the water. Nice place but he's in the middle of nowhere. He's around 60 miles North of St. Johns New Brunswick.
The property is for sale $600 K.
