				The Agent and the Cobra.........

Just got the Agent yesterday. It is basically a Detective Special but with an alloy frame w/short grip. The Cobra is the same but with the Detective Special length grip. Both are almost 100% guns with the Agent having a very slight edge over the Cobra. The Agent was born in 1967 and the Cobra in 1970.

You gonna collect 'em or shoot 'em? Either way, you need a period accessory or three, like a Tyler T Grip

NICE! I like the look for the short grip. Won't fit in my hand, but looks cool.

Probably a little of both. The Agent doesn't have a cylinder ring so that one will have very limited range time. The Cobra will probably get to take it's turn as a carry piece. I have a custom lined holster that will do a good job of protecting the anodized finish on the frame.

I thought they had shrouded ejectors by the late 60's. Cathy keeps a Detective Special around and there's one on the top shelf of the safe at the shop. Their grip is short but thick. Jim

Not trying to turn this into a snubby thread but they can be surprisingly accurate with the right ammo. This is a model 36 at 25 meters standing two hands 9 out of 10 shots in the black. | ||

Nice. It was a sad day when Colt stopped producing double-action revolvers.
