Only Cafe
I went to Canada for the weekend and on the way back stopped in our own "only cafe's" actual Only Cafe in Vernon, NY. It was a real pleasure to meet David and sit down and talk with him, wish I could have stayed longer. He made me a burrito stuffed with a smoked sausage filling, it was excellent! he sent me home with some homemade bread, going to make a sandwich tomorrow with that.
So if you are on Route 90 in eastern NY, I recommend stopping in and having lunch or dinner.

not a great shot, but should give a rough idea. five minutes off of the I-90, on n.y. state route 5. centrally located in "downtown" vernon.

i am sure that byron and all the other cat lovers on this board will be glad to know that cat has never been on the menu at the only cafe in new york.
i have no affiliation with those crazy cat cookers in canada. |
