I'd buy that for a dollar.

Nice.
What did it cost you?

I'm negotiating for a 1914 without stock or case.
It doesn't have all the engraving its plain Jane. the engraving could destroy its value or tipple it. I've been told the stock is worth close to what the broom handle itself is. I offered 1300 for the one I'm trying to get and it does have all the correct stamps from Persian contract. I would not want to guess what yours is worth but I will try to find out.

So it's an engraved Bolo with steel ammo and stripper clips and non-matching stock?
If so I'd have some questions to ask.

My Dad had one without the case that he turned into the Cambridge, MA police Dept. about 35 years ago, on some stupid gun turn in program. Never asked my opinion. I'm sure it got re-sold, not destroyed. Ticked me off to no end.

Really need more photos and pictures to do a proper evaluation. Prices can range anywhere from $500 for a shooter to $5000 for a matched collector. There are several different variations and manufactures. Original finish vs reblue. Real vs repo stock. Etc.

Jan Still's Luger forum has some of the best minds in the business. I'd recommend posting more detailed information there.

If it were a modern firearm, it would be considered an SBR. The broomhandle is one of the few exempted weapons along with lugers and very early browning hipo's.

My understanding is that the stock is required to be original to the weapon and will be serialized to match the weapon somewhere on the metal plate that attaches it to the weapon.
