yeesh, so much for but it's a dry heat.

Yeah, it feels a bit like Florida right now, lol.

Although in this situation we had a bit of help from Norbert, (as did Mexico, Baja, San Diego, LV, etc.), there is no getting around the fact that our annual "Monsoon Season" can make things interesting. Usually it's just the minor annoyance of a dust storm or increased humidity (or even a welcome spat of rain).

My pool began to flood over the edge...had to run the pump on "Waste" to get it down.
Whew!
Back yard (1 acre) is flooded - 8" deep and threatened my patio before the rain stopped.
Scottsdale - Hwy 101 and Chaparral Road.

We are all clear out here in Gilbert. Although the neighborhood green belt is holding about 4ft of water. Pics later

If she's of the Liberal persuasion, yes indeed.
A new car, a year's supply of vitamin pills, dental floss, dog food, and tampons.
Unless, of course, she admits to being naive enough to live there.

The whole neighborhood is probably a "flood plain", so you figure it out.

Well ... time flies. ;)

Are you ready for another?
