Yeah, timid little meek men need to worry about getting rolled for their chump-change cash.

Seriously, I don't get not carrying any cash. I mean, sure, the transaction point is often/sometimes faster w/ card/phone, but then there's the huge end of the month statement minutia to wade thru.

Well, for those minimalists who carry cash + a few cards... this: Lodis Men's | Wallets - Men's Mill Valley Bi-Fold Money Clip (it's minimal - exactly as wide as USD's)

I took the money-clip off mine (cash then in the fold) and the resultant slot makes perfect parking for a MicroSD/USB reader

It can. Imagine that thing cut in half, with one pocket on each side. Driver's license and one card in the pocket on one side, cash on the other. That's what I use.

Farmers that I remember would have rolls of cash stuffed in to their overalls.

Do you mean Monsanto exec's?

Simple money clip in front pocket - usually $40-100.

For decades I've been carrying a slim card case like this:

DL, Organ donor card, Insurance cards, POA, in slot 1
AAA, ATM card in slot 2
other side:
CC 1 in slot 3
CC 2+3 in slot 4

Couple of business cards, copy of passport in the center section.

Money clip and a wallet I keep as thin as I can by carrying just my license, a few credit cards, and whatever receipts I accrue, which I remove and record daily.

I used to carry lots of cash...like 5 - 7 hundred $.
About 12 years ago I was driving through a residential area as a short-cut to somewhere. I saw a For Sale sign on an extremely low mileage Honda Trail 90. Stopped, checked it out, and bought it on the spot for $250 cash. Came back later with a trailer and hauled it home. Sold it a week or so later for double.
.
Similar story - with a bad ending.
Saw a moto For Sale sign, agreed to buy but had no cash. Shook hands...came back within an hour with cash, the moto was in the garage (so I thought).
Knocked on the door...moto had been sold.
.
These days, I carry a few hundred dollar bills with me at all times.
You never know.

Both. Neither. I have one of these. Holds a handful of CC's, and it has a money clip.

I carry a standard bi-fold wallet with card slots on both sides and a long (folded) slot for the $$ bills. I try not carry too many bills for thickness purposes (a coupla $20s, a $10, and a coupla ones.
Although I don't spend much cash, I occasionally come across small business owners who don't take cards.

A standard wallet with 2 sections for bills for dual currencies. I stuff receipts in the less-used section & I clean them out when I get home from a trip. And I am a front pocket guy fwiw.

Leather Wallets for Men, Mens Wallets- All-ETT Wallet
I asked the same question a few years ago and got turned on to these wallets. Mine is leather on the outside, but sail cloth on the inside. Pretty thin for all I carry in it.

That's what mine is too and it's been great for 2+ years. Still is great too, I'm only replacing because I want the carbon fiber... I know...

This is what I carry, custom leather made by a saddle and tack maker from Bakersfield. He told me it comes with a lifetime warranty, if the stitching unravels or the leather splits just bring it to him and he'll fix it. I had to chuckle, the wallet is very well made, won't break anytime soon, and the guy must be about 87 years old.
