well.... i am speechless. (okay, the speechlessness was shortlived, but genuine.)

for the record, i was not offended. i was, however, confused as to how my post(s) became confused (this is my interpretation) and why you seemed to become so angry with me.

while i am not african american, i have experienced some minor profiling/discrimination as a rider of a sport bike. and i have experienced some aggression because i was riding a sport bike. it was clear that the officer in this instance was mainly motivated by the fact that i was riding a sport bike. frankly, i was a bit afraid of what he had going on with his behavior. that something like 9 in 10 african americans have been arrested speaks volumes.

that said, i accept your apology. and i also apologize for anything that i might have posted that offended you.

Yeah, I've mentioned this here at least a brazillion times - citizen review boards. We had one in Seattle, for awhile. It was comprised of former mayors, governors, senators, representatives, councilmen and women, etc. They finally resigned, en masse, with their very well spoken representative reading an open letter to the city and its citizens on the way out. It was very damning, how he described the stonewalling, lack of cooperation, and outright lying that they suffered in virtually every dealing with the Seattle PD. The Seattle PD clearly did not like being answerable to the people whom they serve. Takes all of the fun out of it, I guess.

I'm obviously worth the effort for you here, buddy. You made the effort. How is your life? I'm thinking not too good. Mine is OK, but I'd never mention it unless someone makes a remark about how I must have a bad life(?), based on some argument on a meaningless internet forum.

I'll tell you more about myself, since you're clearly interested, (obsessed)? Life is fine. It's not perfect. My 83 y.o. parents are having a rough time and it's real stressful for all involved. I've had a few minor health bumps in the road, but overall I think my life is great. Maybe I'm wrong, what do I know compared to a random stranger from the internet up in Seattle? I base my appraisal on the fact of having wonderful friends, living in what I consider to be the best place to live on the planet and a great family plus reasonably good health and making a good living. Oh, and riding MCs and other fun hobbies.

Calling me a girl and accusing me of a "meltdown" every time I give some prick like you a bich slap through the monitor? Come on, man. You can do better than that. Dig deep into that Seattle wit and show us what you've really got. I wish you were local, do you ever come down this way? I'd love to see if you'd still call me a girl face-to-face. I've got cash money that says you wouldn't. SmileWavy
